Introduction
The Pemberton Community Association was set up on the 10th April 2003 by Dave Arrowsmith and Mike Dewhurst. The Association was originally known as the Pemberton & Worsley Green Tenants and Residents Association, but was shortened to an easier to remember name. The Association boundary starts an Smethurst Lane and continues through to Shelley Drive and stops at teh traffic lights at the M6 slip road. The aim of the Association is to raise concerns on behalf of local residents and to work closely with the local Policing team, Ward Councillors and other agencies. Fund Raising is also a part of the Pemberton Community Association, which helps to provide Christmas Hampers for the elderly, there are also 'fun nights' at the Lamberhead Green WMC, which consists of an entertainer, bingo and raffles.
All monies raised goes back into the community.
Anyone who would like to join the group, should contact Helen, the secretary, on 07925 867070.
